Error message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there are no streaming protocols selected. Select one or more protocols, and then try again.


Solution:
Open Windows Media Player, on top menu (press alt to show), go to tools > network. Check RTSP/UDP, RTSP/TCP and HTTP for protocols for MMS URLs.
Restart windows media player.
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there are no streaming protocols selected
If this not work, check firewall:
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Windows Security Center > Manage Security Settings for > Windows Firewall, choose disable.
